I don't think they're ugly, if they're strong, cutting down on rotational intertia is good I guess. Curb rash would really suck though

Those wheels sound reaaaaaaally stupid. Carbon fiber will only bend to a certain point, before exploding. Hit a pothole too hard in a car with a stupid hard suspension, and kaboom!

theyre lighter than that. my ssr's weigh 11 lbs and the spoon wheel felt like it was a good 1-2 lbs lighter than that. but still an 18" wheel weighing 14lbs is nuts. i wonder how durable the wheel is when it comes to potholes
