This meet is always a great event & this year was no exception. Even with it being a bit cooler, there was still a great turn out. A good deal of some real nice automobiles!! It's nice seeing people come out for a great cause & I am looking forward to next years event. Sell some coffee & hot chocolate or something & there is even some more $$ to donate.

Was a great time. From driving with the Marine to his drop off location I honestly think we did even better then last year... in toy count and the quality of the toys as well. Wait wait for a final count.

Had a great time yesterday ... it was a touch chilly, but I still had a nice time checking out everyone's ride and hanging out.

Personally, I'd love to see this event stay in MacCungie every year. Not, that I wouldn't drive to Montgomeryville, but it's a great location and between myself and Dangerousatom, we can get food there no problem ... AND, get a kickback from the food sales to support the event too. Word.

First time I've missed the event in 4 years, but work got a little hectic and it's tough to turn down OT. Glad there was such a good turnout.

Hey guys I will be back with a longer post but just some quick comments. Thanks for the compliments and also I want to let everyone know the lack of food came from the volunteers not having electric and couldn't make it out lol. So next year, if there is no hurricane, there will be food . Thanks to all who came. I am still trying to get some numbers from the marines. When I get them I will post back along with thank yous to everyone who pitched in.

For those that didn't see it on Facebook:
As I do every year it's time for me to take the time to thank everyone for coming out to support this event. I was unable to get a final toy count from the Marines, but I spoke with the people collecting the toys and did a quick estimate based on last years total and we feel a safe, conservative, estimate would be a little over 200 toys were donated this year.We filled the Corvette, the trunk of t
he Challenger and the Marine's SUV. In addition from the cash donations and raffle we were able to donate $626 in cash. To say the new venue was a success would be an incredible understatement. I have been overwhelmed with requests to keep it at the park from now on. I've spoken to the people that run the park and I can now say that we are officially welcome back for November 3rd 2013. They received one complaint about people flying out of the exit but, in general, the whole group was very respectful of the grounds of the park and of the sorrounding area, for which I am extremely grateful. I've also received a lot of feedback on things we can do differently, which I will be looking at as we plan next years event.
There are a lot of volunteers this year to thank and I feel like I may miss someone, but I will do my best not to. We had more than a few people that came for the show and just pitched in because they saw a chance to help out, we had fantastic support from our vendors again this year as well. So thanks to Elizabeth Harer Kyle Hess Christopher Bonner Rich Hamersly Ryan Gary Nick Oakes Nick Bucar Emily Acanfora Kevin Yutz Ben Mease Richele Galante AutoMotion J&E Fleet Service Bubble Tech GreenWays Flat Four Specialties Area1320 First Class Tint, the list could go on and I am sorry if I missed anyone. To everyone else have a great rest of the year and I look forward to seeing you all next November

I'm glad I could help and I'm happy with the results.

I also added the event to my 2013 calendar.
