ive wondered about that since theres 40mph signs but wondered if that was only in effect when the "active work zone" lights were flashing.. i see peeople going like 80 through there..so if i see the cop with his lights on i go 40 but if hes not there or the active work zone sign lights arent on then i go like 50..everyone else around me is going faster.

Its in effect 24/7. The cops took advantage of the situation. I usually do around 50.
