i work at firestone be careful with the lifetime alignments... if you do any front end work your self and i mean ANYTHING it will void it... we had this issue with a customer the other day who lowered his car.. so dont mention "i just did tie rods" or "im an inch lower" at the counter.. those service reps are there to screw you lol

also be careful and watch the techs.. what alot of techs do when they get lifetime re-alignments on their hook they move the heads so it comes out green.. normal alignements pay us 1 hour and the re-aligns for the lifetimes pay a .6 so they try to beat the system... just helping out other mr2 guys.. im a tech and i do all the tricks lmao

Car is on TRD springs, Bilstein HD struts. I did just get the flaps that go in front of the front wheels. I need to get them on.

I can't tell you how many times we get people that come in after a fresh chain store alignment hating their car and the specs are WAY out of whack.

yup ! im not shocked at all.. we had a guy at our store who would align a car print out 5 copies and put them in his box so next time the same model car came in he would act like he was aligning it, take the paper out of his box and pass it off as done.. he had a huge stack of pretty much every common car.. ALOT of shady **** happens at these shops.

Before I started in one of my shops we had a tech who would pull next to the tall curb and turn the wheel into it until it straightened the wheel.

He'd go on test drives and do it so no one saw; come in put it on the rack roll it around walk around under it and then lower it down and it came out green. Someone spotted him one day on a test drive doing it and he was fired and we replaced about 13 cars steering racks
