Hahaha no, I was not in Quakertown.

I ended up replacing the clutch and flywheel because I found out my car had the infamous problem of needing a new third gear set (paid for by honda under warranty) so I figured while they were in there and paying for it, I'd have them put in a clutch and flywheel. I absolutely love it and don't regret spending the money at all.

Nah, they just replaced my third gear set but they did a REALLY nice job and it shifts smoothly now. I doubt they'd ever replace the whole trans unless the entire thing blew up. I'm just glad it was fixed correctly!

ahh glad to see honda still has not fixed the problems with there 6 speeds.

my 06 accord grinds and bitches about going into thrid sometimes, moreso when its cold. they have been that way since 2003. If your tranny is like most others, it may eventually come back. An easy fix alot of people have had success with is using GM syncromesh fluid in the tranny as opposed to the honda fluid.

i've heard that! Thanks for the tip, I will def be switching out my trans fluid! Did you end up getting your third gear synchro replaced? Honda will warranty it. If not and if you want to, I highly recommend speaking to Chris Palmer at Scott Honda in WC. He fixed it, no questions asked.

Thanks! and absolutely. Picking up a Vibrant cat-back exhaust next Friday (hopefully!) and if I can save enough money, a Vibrant header with HFC and Hondata Reflash by the end of this summer!

Seems like the money that went into the clutch could have went into an exhaust but to each their own. It looks good.

Agreed! I'd actually really like to supercharge it (instant power=more fun), but I'm trying to stay level headed while it's still warrantied. It's already had to go into the shop once for warranty repairs. I think when I graduate grad school though I will probably be supercharging it, it will be out of warranty by then

True, and I considered that. But from many reviews I have read, the OEM clutches on the SIs are poor when it comes to longevity, and I'd rather buy a clutch that will last a long time now and have it put in for free, then have to spend a ton of money down the road in labor to replace it. I see it as more of an investment. Now the money that would have had to be spent on the labor for installation can go into something else.

The timing was rite for the clutch IMO....free labor FTW even though its a part that wares and an exhaust should last forever. Nice ride by the way and the color is great IM not a Honda Guy at all but they got the color rite in between Old School Impreza RS blue and WRX blue.

come up to the ROSS meet in Montgomeryville not too many Honda's there
