I've got a silver 92 TSI now. It has 3/4 of an aftermarket stock style wing on it right now, I'm sure some of you will see me around.

Thats not entirely true but I know where you got that from. A lot of people you talk to will have biased opinions on the Pennstate FSAE team because they go there expecting to work on a car and design stuff from day one. Its pretty much do bitch work for the first year. Basically machining little parts that no one else has time to do. If you show some commitment through that you'll start getting more hands on with stuff. Also nothing is mandatory you show up when you what and leave when you want. Its just the guys who want to do it that are there all the time putting in the hours. If you become one of those guys who helps the team and not one of the people who show up twice and never come back because its not what they thought you will drive the car eventually. Everyone who puts a large amount of effort into the car gets to drive.

Just don't show up with the mindset that your going to be working on a race car the first day you show up. Or that because you machined one part you will get to drive.

The team does all the machine work in the Learning Factory (or undergrad machine shop which ever you would like to call it). The car is suppose to be built in there but because of recent renovations its being assembled in Reber. If you want to get involved though go to the Learning Factory after about 4 and talk to one of the TA's there. All of them are on the team.

Its close but not next to IST. Its actually right behind the bus station on Atherton. Its labeled as the engineering services building on the maps so unless you took a class that made you go back there or someone showed it to you most people can't find it.

His name is Brian and he goes to Penn Tech. He comes up to UP to party some weekends.

I'm pissed that I missed that past meet since I didn't have my car up at the time. I have it right now and want to know whether you guys want to meet up any time soon?

Vypurr did you happen to be in your STI on College Ave around 10:45ish on Friday night? We were heading to Skeller's and it looked like an SGM STi that went by us.
