Right now its got the high output 2.2l, carburated...when new it was a BHP of 110...now...more like 70...

Once I get it where I want it...350whp+nitrous...stripped body, roll cage...under 2k lbs, running around the street on drag radials, tinted out, and otherwise stock looking

Either that, or an SRT-4 swap built to the tune of 500+whp. Traction problems...definatly, but we get it to hook early, who knows... sub 10's?

The fastest Omnis are still in the high 10s. And they have SERIOUS work done to them. No doubt you could be running with Frenchy's 8 second Charger, but not as a street legal car.

Expect mid 11s with drag slicks.

Yah, this will be a looooong term project. I'd be happy with 300-350whp + nitrous, or a built SRT-4 motor swapped in.

my g/f gave me the worst look when I told her, then pouted at me and told me, "I don't want to know" then turned over.

She thinks I'll kill myself in it.

I don't know if I could get her to the strip. I had her at the autocross once while I drove my SRT. Apparently she was pacing back and forth waiting for it to be over, lol. She's a great g/f to worry about me so much. Though, she did say she'd get in the car w/ me next time.

The first time I let my girl drive my car she tore through 3 gears and topped 80mph behind a Kmart. I nearly peed myself... crazy bitch.

haha, yeah. My g/f is scared I'm gonna kill myself, and she's the one with the cherokee, driving through fields, taking turns too fast and fishtailing, etc.

Luckily I haven't had to let her drive. I've always driven, either my car, or her truck

She wants to see what her car will cut now

Just gotta get the fear out of them the first time through. She had her eyes closed and the helmet visor down until about half track on first pass. Wuss.

her ex was a major douche behind the wheel (and out of the car, but that's another story me and a few friends have to talk to him about) and instilled that fear in her. Driving like an azzhole on the streets, racing, etc. all w/ her in the car.

Luckily, I'm mature about it..I think I can get her to come around. Her willing to get into the car when I hit the next Solo II is a good step.

If you can get her to ride shotgun while cone dodging then the strip should be easy. I mean it's faster, and there is another car next to you, but there is no lateral motion to worry about. My gf refuses to be in the car when I drift in empty lots. Dunno why, I assume its due to the sideways motion cus she has no problem doing quarter mile runs now.
