UPDATE: Progress of my car.

Well, the car is taking a while, but it is expected. It should be done this week. The next week, I'll be going out to Cali to get the EMS tuned. Here are some recent pics of the motor build.

Here is my intake manifold. It is port matched, and nice and smooth inside now.

The block ready for the head.

The motor assembeled a little bit.

Look at that sexy port job and the new valves.

I'll put more up as more comes along. Should have video soon too.

:::NEW PICS::::

Heartless.

Almost ready...

So much crap on it.

Dropping in.

Fidanza.

Spec Stg. 3

Up in the air.

The car is actually running right now. But, just on the stock ECU. Today the EMS goes in and it will get a mild street tune, so I can break it in safely.

The guy in the pics is Dave. He is the one doing the work on my car on his off time at the dealer. He works incredibly fast. I don't have the facilities or the tools, so this is no DIY for me.

If I get the car back today, you can be sure I will have some video up.

That thing is going to be a screamer. Too bad about the torque, though

Goal is over 300whp NA. We'll see though. Shouldn't be too hard.

Well, I'm trying to fix that. It is a 2.5. So, that will make up for some of the torque.

N/A for now. Boost will come soon enough. It is at stock compression, so it won't be too bad for boost.

The motor is sleeved by Inline Pro. They won't tell you who makes the sleeves or much on the internals, so people won't copy it.

I have to go to Cali to get it tuned, because there aren't too many tuners here in Vegas that can be that well trusted. SoCal has Sean Church. He is basically, "the guy" for EMS equipped S2ks.

Inline supplies the headgasket since it is a custom made block and no one else makes it as of it.

I don't like the fact you have to buy a proprietary headgasket every single time you take off the head (if need be)

Agreed, but the head won't be coming off too many times. So, it's not a big deal really.

Next time the head comes off, it will either be broken, or swapping the bottom end around.
