yea don't use fix a flat unless you REALLY need to, your tire will be off balance for ever if you do. you should be able to get it patched at most any tire place or service station, they also sell the repair kits if you wanted to do it yourself?

go to a service station and get a plug or pepboys or somewhere. Just dont use fixaflat cause it doesnt work and then some places charge extra to patch it cause they have to clean all the fixaflat junk out.

I have a patch kit at home and when my truck had a flat it was an easy fix. Just remove the wheel from car, soap the bitch down with soapy water. See the bubbles. Take the patch it read directions Jam the rubber thing down in the whole with the glue and all on it trim, wheel back on and drive. Dont take my directions serious, its the general gist of how to do it

Fix a flat is also ver dangerous...
http://www.makezine.com/blog/archive...C-0D6B48984890 My shop will not normally work on a tire which was fixxed with fix a flat because if you make any sparks while unmounting the tire, you can have one hell of an explosion. |
