PA Inspection Exemption

Hey I just have a quick question. My one car hasn't ran in over a year and the inspection was up in Jan 06. Since the inspection prior, I have maybe driven the car 600 miles. I just again got it running but it has the old stickers. Can I drive legally or am I risking getting a fine? Thank you!

You are required to get a safety inspection once a year, regardless of mileage.

However, you can get an exemption on your emissions inspection:
Quote:
A vehicle driven fewer than 5,000 miles during the 12-month period immediately preceding the inspection can qualify for an exemption sticker if you have owned the vehicle for one year or more. Just take your vehicle to an inspection station to verify your mileage and apply for an exemption sticker. Stations may charge a fee for an exemption. Also, if you have a new vehicle titled and registered for the first time and driven fewer than 5,000 miles, you can apply for an exemption sticker valid until the next inspection is due.
