Thanks to everyone from this site who has signed up so far.

Just an update, as of right now the student with instructor group is all filled up. You can still register for that run group, but you will be placed on the waiting list. In the event someone cancels you will be able to fill their spot. We are doing this based on the order in which you register, so in other words its on a first come first served basis.

We do still have room in the solo/advanced group as well as the instructor run group for those who have previous HPDE experience. Please email alwaysinboost@msn.com for more info or to register.

Thanks for bumping my thread. I guess the majority of TST just like to hang out in parking lots and talk about what their cars can do. They don't know what they're missing.

There is a pretty good sized waitlist for the beginner group, but we are still looking for SOLO/Advanced drivers and insturctors to fill the remaining open spots. You will get as much as 3hrs of track time in the SOLO group for $200 and as much as 5hrs in the instructor group for $175.

Get in before the price increases after the first of the year and before the run groups fill up!

I definitely want to get out on the track, always have just never did. Since the beginner/instructor group is full could I sign up in the solo group? Or since its my first time would I have to get on the waiting list for the beginner?

If its your first track day or you haven't been solo'd by an instructor previously, you'll definitely have to run with an instructor. The novice group is full but we are coming up with different ideas of how to get all the novices in. If you're interested, my advice would be to officially sign up to get on the wait list. Worst case scenario is that we have to refund your money if we can't fit you in. As it looks now, the possibility of getting in looks very good; just can't make you promises at the moment.

P.S. it's typical for most organizations to close or wait list the novice group until more instructors commit. This stuff gets sorted out as the event gets closer.

Not a regular poster here but I did sign up for the Advanced group. Quick question, can I take a passenger along for couple hot laps if they sign a waiver? I know some clubs offer this, some do not. I am registered for the advance group. Just want to give him a quick taste of HPDE so he can sign up for future events.

You're in luck! A student or two have canceled which makes their spots with instructors available.

Our insurance is pretty strict on passengers. If there are two people in the car, one of them must be an instructor.

It seems like the option of advanced drivers taking passengers is slowly fading away. I know Trackdaze still allows it though.

I'm sure if you or your friend asks an instructor, one would agree to take your friend for ride. People are usually very open to allowing someone to get a taste of this hobby. Just make sure you or your friend have a suitable helmet for him to wear on the ride along
