Let me add to some of what Pete has said to give you a better idea what its all about, hopefully he doesn't mind.

Being a moderator is not always fun, in fact sometimes it really does feel like work. I know a lot of people are drawn to it because of the notoriety but that is not what its about at all, so please don't waste your time or ours if thats all you're interested in.
Its not for everyone, in fact I think its probably not for most people, but for some it can be very rewarding. Those people are self-motivated, responsible, driven, trustworthy, and reliable, and are the type that enjoy putting genuine effort into a long term project in order to see long term results. We're looking for team players but also those who are able to think independently and come up with new ideas on how to improve the forum in general. You are also a representative of TST as a whole and we are looking for those who are enthusiastic about the forum and want the best for it, and also those who have shown maturity and respect in their daily conduct on the forum.
Also I want to add that part of the reason for the moderator search is to try to run things a little smoother on the forum. We are always looking to improve the forum and this is a major step in doing that. If you wish TST could be more than it is currently and the rest of the description above fits you, this may be a great opportunity to get involved to help make some changes in the right direction.

Ok thats all I can think of for now, hopefully that helps shape what its all about. If I didn't make it seem very fun, its because I wasn't trying to. Its not fun, it sucks sometimes.
