I'm from NE Philly, any way I could check out the Vig? I've been on the lookout for one, but they're impossible to find in good condition. (Not killed or sludged that is). And I can see that Raven is known for his saab...wonder if there's a story behind that.

yeah i wouldnt mind showing you the car, mine's not in the BEST condition but i keep it real clean, i really need to get the front bumper and hood re-done for it to be perfect those damn rock chips suck.. if your looking to make it pretty quick i would suggest looking at genuinesaab.com or if you have any problems with it to check out saablink.net or saabnet.com both good websites for diy things and repairs

I know of pretty much every possible saab resourse around. I run one of the saab forums (not a well known one, but there are enough issues discussed there for me to know them) and I've got the WIS. Some of my mods are: GS 3" DP, koni sport kit, 1" GS RARB and other misc crap... and you can say that again about them rock chips...I've got plenty of those too...

I love them....I do get some rubbing on full soft when I forget that I'm not adjusted for autocross and try to tackle hard turnes. BEST suspension I've ever had on a street car. On full soft it is very close to stock ride and when I kick the rear end to full stiff I even get a bit of oversteer...haven't had achance to try these out at an autocross, but I'm back in there as soon as the season starts again.

Found it! .........Yeah, school and work owns me, I'm on TST like once a month now.
Yeah, my story is I'm known for picking fights with all the subaru owners saying that SAAB builds a better, faster engine and overall car. And although they'll never admit it, I've got several STi kills from a roll. My car, I've got a 2001 9-5 Aero, factory freak that makes 235 whp and 240 wtq in 4th (.89 overdrive). I've got Eibach pro-kit springs with Bilstein Sport shocks, which I love, but I'm thinking about stiffer sway bars. I haven't upgraded the power, mostly cause the B235R is pretty well tuned from the factory and if I want more, everything gives up at 300 hp, (turbo, fuel, intercooler, pistons, etc.) Right now my next upgrade I've got planned is a new clutch and a gear box rebuild with updated synchros and a LSD.

You can say that one again...I'll be rebuilding a box with crytreated internals and an LSD over the winter (or so I hope). In autocross having a messed up third gear doesn't matter, but damn do I miss my third gear...

Third is my favorite cause that's when I can finally put down full power. Then there's the nice, close-ratio 3-4 shift, 60-135 is just such a joy.

When I'm in a pissy mood I'm at 45% stiff front 95% stiff rear, when I'm just going to and from work I'm on full soft. I gotta buy myself a new shiftknob cause right now I have a ghetto-looking blob of epoxy instead of one...stupid leather wrap came off.
