Can somebody help me?

I just registered a domain name with www.register.com and I'm trying to FTP to my site so I can just upload an image to display. But I can't connect. I'm doing something wrong?

i assume ur using a ftp program?

check the ip address, make sure the username ur entering is correct, certain hosts have different ways. for ex. some are admin.yoursite.com, or just yoursite.com, or admin ... also double check ur pw.

Did you change the DNS settings to point to your host's server??

Ouch cause "register.com" is expensive?

Yeah I'm paying like $60/year or something like that. I guess the other going rates are like $45/year.

Maybe you can help me with a image problem I'm having?

In my 'public' folder I have 'index.html' I have a few statements to show pictures and all the pictures with are located in 'public/images/"

but they never show up....

Yeah I saw that misspelling but it still doesn't work. If I host the image in photobucket or something they work fine. I don't get it.

I must be typing the location incorrectly.

If I host is in just the public folder "'www.auditor-clothing.com/about_button.jpg'" that will work. If I try to host it from a folder (Buttons) inside "Public" it's not found. Maybe the permissions of the "Buttons" folder is incorrect or something.

Check it out now www.auditor-clothing.com

PS: why don't you just have an images folder with folders in that for the different pages or items? IE: images/buttons or images/index ?

Was that public folder in there to begin with?
