stoffen diffusers are sweet, bounce cards are nice as well. Gary Fongs only work well I've heard when you have 2 or more places to bounce the light from. I've never used one so I'm not sure.

that little white thing doesn't push too much light forward when you have it facing up. its more for catchlights if you're bouncing the flash off the ceiling. i have the stofen diffuser for my 430ex and 580ex speedlites

and plus... they are rather flimsy, I prefer an index card, more sturdy and larger so I don't rip the built in bounce card off the 800.

the GF diffuser has attachments that will push the light through the sides rather from the top ($10 for the attachment).

youtube is your friend for learning photoshop, plus learning photoshop in oneday is pointless, so much to remember that you would forget most of it
