Is there a minimum of 'tuning' that needs to be done? Are people who spend more likely to be more qualified to win?

There is no minimum. We want to show off the rides of our members on TST. Some months we may feature a very expensive show car which was built to win awards, other months we may feature a car built by a father and son which may not be the greatest car ever, but it has a good story to tell.

The keys to getting selected are: A) Have an amazing car. If it drops jaws, submit it! B) Tell US why WE should select it. Tell a good story, and make us want to feature YOU and YOUR CAR!

The photos are just as important as the car. You probably won't win unless you find a photographer or learn how to use a nice camera.

Not you. You hadn't posted by the time I began my post then went to get a drink. 2 min difference.

From what I see, the previous winners all had great photography to showcase their car.

After you are selected, we will have one of our photographers get together with you to shoot your car specifically for the article! (Good pics might still help get you selected)
