24 Hours of Le Mans

Anyone catch any of the 24 Hours of Le Mans? The Audi R10 really ran a great race and the C6-R's took the crown in gt1 over the Aston Martin DBR9's..
Watching the race is giving me the urge to pull out Le Mans the movie and watch it..!

I caught parts of it. My friend got mad at me for not watching more. He works for Pratt and Miller as a designer. They are unstopable.

I just wish more Japanese companies ran in it. Audi and Chevy have been dominating this event for the last 5yrs. There have been some Porsches in the mix, but Audi and Chevy are dominant.

Yeah my friend said it kinda sucks because the prodrive aston martins are only racing in a few races in the series. It's bad enough that they dominat but now they are basically racing against themselfs most of the season.

It has been a long time since a Japanese manufacturer won it the last time being Mazda in 91 with the 787b. After that, rotary engines were banned from running Le Mans.
