A good burger does sound good. Wish it was a little warmer to start grilling again.

Come the nice weather time, I will be getting a new grill. Heather said for my birthday which was in January that I'd be getting a new grill. We will see if that comes true.

She also mentioned that sometime in the future she wants a newer mustang. Probably like an '05+ year. And of course it's going to be a GT.

That's all we do when it's nice out is grill. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

A buddy of mine is selling an 03 Mustang GT that needs some work. He was told it has a bad rod and head-gasket. Its got a K&N intake and a SLP loudmouth exhaust. Think 3500 is a good deal?

If the paint and interior is good I'm scoop it up for $3500. Suspension, trans, and motor parts are dirt cheap for that generation.

That generation, IMO, also has the best sounding exhaust too!

How many miles are on it? I'd say he can maybe get that much for it, but will probably get 2500 or 3k for it.

Really try for $2500. Rebuild kit is gonna run you about $850, maybe another $250 in tune up stuff which again is probally overpriced but better safe the sorry(plugs, wires, fluids, filters), flywheel(new or resurface), and clutch kit is liek $275, and a new slave.

Probally all said it done $4000-4500 for a car that will run for a long ass time.

Jay screw the rebuild kit honestly. You can pick up an extra block for cheap. If someone doesn't mind it being a project, it can be a good one.

I dunno man, for the same price I'd rather have a rebuilt block then a mystery used one.

yeah she's awesome, the attitude that she displays why playing, just makes me super silly happy. IMO, there's three things in life that one must have, family, friends and happiness. everything else can take a back seat.
