Fazda's s14..replaced with a Kouki, new wheels last page!!!

After a whole lot of thought, I put an end to building an insanely powerful Probe, I'll be rebuilding that car as a mostly stock car for my little brother.

I was putting off building a 240 until that car was finished, but now I've got the space and funds for it since i've sold off much of the high end parts for the probe.

I made a deal with my roommate, and on friday I titled this s14 in my name.

I've got a good bit of my Ka-t stuff ready to go, just need to buy a few more things and then jump into it.

I plan on running stock internals, low boost, and a basic afc tune until summer, or until the stock ka takes a dump.


In the next few weeks the car should be running on:

Turbonetics t3/t4 .63a/r 57 trim
tial 38mm gate
Basic, rewelded and supported ka-t manifold
370cc injectors
z32 maf
ebay fmic
hallman mbc
aeromotive fpr
walbro 255
afcII

In the past we've made some high 12 sec. passes on this setup and that is the goal for this car as well.

Once I get comfortable with the car upgrades will come quickly.

I just want the basic ka-t done so I can enjoy the car before the weather takes a dump.

I need a few things to bring the looks, and quality of the car up to my standards so some of you guys will make some cash from me haha...

I'll be sticking with red as red cars with black wheels are sort of my "trademark"










I'm having the car inspected tomorrow, and after that the Ka-t process will be underway.

I prepped the car for paint today...

tomorrow i'll be spraying a silver basecoat with a black roof, and adding some new wheels painted my rendition of takata green;

I also replaced the sagging driver's door hinges with hinges from a 96' maxima... a little shimming and they worked great.

that was calsonics car... it now belongs to blue240sx on here, he traded off an rsx for it...

that car is for sale for $8500

and yes that's our garage...the garage at my house is way too small for all of our projects and i like to keep it looking like a house, not a salvage yard so we rented that old building and fixed it all up nice.

still is a very nice car, kyle takes good care of it.

he took the trade offer because he figured the teg would be fun for awhile, and it was...but owning a nice honda this close to reading just isn't a good idea.

im sure the 240 is going to be amazing, but at the same time ive been following the build of the red probe for a looonggg time..back when i used to own one.. i used to see it all over probetalk.com. really was looking forward to the final debut of that car. oh well, hope ur brother has fun with it.. and also..good luck with the 240!

well since members of probetalk are cheap and cant afford my high end parts... it might get finished after all..

it will be finished one way or another, so far the engine is the only major change of plans.

my parents would rather it not be boosted right away for my brother, but eventually it'll be a turbo gts again, built right...the process is just being dragged out even longer for you guys to wait

the 2.7l wasn't really meant for boost anyway, i'll probably wind up building the block i have here machined and ready to go at a modest .02 bore...going a little less crazy with the engine bay wire tuck, and stickign with the same general turbo setup the car ran in the past.

it'll still have the cage, shaved hatch, fresh rio red paint etc...
