It still runs great. Its my DD and weekend Autox'r. I picked up an extra set of Ray's Track Ed v1 wheels for autox events, and as I'm typing this, one8turbo is installing a springs, dampers, sways, and camber arms for me. He's helping me out in big way. I'm very excited. Does your friend still have that sick S14!?! Last time I saw it he'd just finished putting the engine back in. |

I like the look of the car a lot! It looks really clean with those Volks even at the current ride-hight.

Beautiful. Looks so much more classy than my HKS.

Got my OEM Brembo calipers, powerslot rotors, stainless steel lines and Motul fluid installed today by R/T tuning. Also had them adjust my rear muffler to get the tips up closer to the bumper cut-outs. (Thanks to Erik, Bill and Vince!) Even though it poured rain on my drive home and the car got filthy I couldn't resists snapping a few pics:

Finally got my coilovers installed, ride height and alignment sorted out. I haven't had the chance to take any pictures with a worthwhile camera but here are a few shots taken with my phone to give an idea. Now I scrape something wherever I go....lol coilovers, another one of my great ideas
This was after I installed the front coilovers and still had the Hotchkis springs in the rear: Outside of R/T Tuning after ride height adjustment and alignment: |

Thanks! Ended up with BC Racing BR series coilovers. Definitely a budget coilover setup they don't seem too bad so far. Definitely a bit bouncy on the stiffer damper settings, but not noisy at all. The Hotchkis springs felt great, just like OEM except I think the rears were softer than OEM. If you end up going with Hotchkis, let me know....I still have mine laying around collecting dust.

I've heard good things about the BC coils, so even if its a budget setup its still a good way to go. Did you have the springs on stock shocks? Let me know how much you'd want for them, I might have to snag them from you. I just want a slight drop to get rid of some of the wheel gap. I'm assuming you didn't Babe too many ground clearance issues with them?

Front springs currently still mounted to the front shocks. Where are you located? I could hook up the springs at a pretty good price but shipping will be pricey. I'm in 19460. |
