need help with sirius radio information
I don't want to rip his whole dashboard apart and install some piece of junk that doesn't work properly. Thanks, Chris |

is it the stock mazda radio? i know if you have a JVC or Alpine, etc, they have small boxes for them. I have mine stuck under the dash somewhere.
Also, as far as quality goes, its not any better than the FM transmitted. My brother has a FM transmitted jobby, and I have a direct connection, and it still sounds the same. The whole reason why I got it to plug into my radio was for better quality. The only advantage is there is no satic...but i'd just look for a better radio station to transmit over. But if you have no static on your radio from other stations...thats about the best quality you would get. If the mazda radio has a input line somewhere, you can unplug the antenna and get a mp3 player cable with two male 1/8" plugs and have a direct connection that way...I think.

yeah he is mainly worried about static... he doesn't care so much about the sound quality so if there is anything that is simple enough just to kill the static that would be perfect.
