ive driven several vr-4s actually.. i was in the market for one.. i think they are great cars aside from the breaking every 5 minutes thing... i thought they were heavy but stuck to the road well and that inspires confidence which generally enables one to push a car harder. ive never had a little civic inspire me with confidence.. ever.

sti's weigh about 3500 lbs... yet when set up properly.. can out drive just about anything on the course ... (dylan shut up i already know you are going to bring up insane cars).. same thing goes for evo's.

its all about the set up and the driver. without those 2 things, you have nothing.

have you ever thought maybe your opinion is incorrect because you dont know how to drive the car properly?

you saw how bad he ****ed up the car since he took it home. Yea, it had some issues we weren't aware of prior to him picking it up, but we came to an agreement with him. It is none of your business to push the issue every chance you get. It's HIS deal, not yours. It's not your place to harass me about it.

ok... everyone seems to be on the point that im talking about a vr4 with a built suspension. and im not...

i have driven both of my cars to their limits and i know what both of mine can do.. have i driven a vr4 with a built suspension... frankly no.. but then again i havent even started putting money into my vr4..

dude take a vr4 auto Xing. they are big and not as responsive as a smaller car.. stop turning this into an issue about the driver..

and they do not break evey 5 minutes.. i have owned mine for 3 years and never had any problem that i couldnt fix myself. they are just bearing spinners

just because its not light and overly responsive doesnt mean it wont eat a civic alive... if you are talking about a vr-4 with stock suspension, why not compare it to a civic with stock suspension.. thats only fair.

in which case.. the vr-4 would win. again.

now dont get me wrong.. there are some super quick hondas on the auto-x course, but for the sake of this thread we will leave them out.

thats a ridiculous argument. you cant possibly compare a car with built suspension against a car with "full suspension" and come out with a logical agreement.

GTR weighs roughly the same as the entire state of Rhode Island and it still corners. Handling isn't necessarily a weight issue. Its how you handle and manage that weight

I agree. My BMW weights 4300lbs, and it handles WAY better than my Honda. Both have stock suspension.

True. Its my first RWD so I never had the experience. The BMW has a wider stance and wider tires( Honda 185, BMW 225), which also helps out. My Honda is a 5-speed, BMW is auto.
