Yea that 2f2f skyline had problems or soemthing and thats why it ran bad. Plus im pretty sure the awd was setup to be rwd so in the movie it looked better.

Yeah, the car was totally messed up when they drove it.

And Skyline's are cool and all, but TONS of hype IMO. Rare sighting though.

No.. they're not tons of hype (in a bad way). They're the real deal.. theyre the most modable, versitile and most gorgeous imports to ever grace this planet. They're hyped because they're a rarity and everyone wants one. The straight 6 is one of the greatest motors... especially the RB26DETT. mmmm...

I can't really say, never driven one. I realize their modability (low 11's and 1+ G for very little mods), but they're also incredibly expensive for a used car, and the hassles with importing stuff has gotta be ridiculous. Not saying if I had the ability I wouldn't seriously consider one He's got a very rare, cool car.

Theyre expensive HERE.. not in Japan.. they're dirt cheap. I will own an R32 GT-R within the next three years.

Like i said, if u work your ass off real hard, and save every penny. cut corners here and there, to save a few extra bucks. You can have a skyline in a couple years, hell, sell your car and get a loan you can have one tomarrow. I would take a bottom line, R32, old school skyline. Go ahead, laugh at me for it being so old and the lowend model . But in the end, i would still own a skyline. Win or lose the race, i own a skyline. lol. Haha, i really really want one now.

**edit**

Speaking of the Skyline R32 that alachua was talkin about....

That thing also hauls ass!....and cost ALOT less than 34k!

Also has a mines ecu,and greddy turbo\ecu\FMIC.....Still needs a GTR kit for me.But I do get to drive it on a regular basis!

You would be surprized at how cheap you can get those cars.We also had a RHD turbo mr2 that cost about 6k in the end, along with the newest Eunos Roadster, that was even cheaper

I could dig up some pics of the skyline if you want.

And for those of you who don't work for a shop that is specific to Miatas, the Eunos is a JDM Mazda Miata.

I think you guys should get an MT Eunos, and sell it to me for wicked cheap, that way we can drive side by side in our roadsters and talk to each other.

Thought I'd say hi to everybody

a side note though, besides the fact that Motorex is out of business, they did not have good business practices and if you were to attempt to purchase a car from them you would be at least 80% likely to demand your money back after an extended period of time waiting for a car that doesn't come to fruition

Late,
Daniel
