And i get a call from the front desk, theres someone downstairs with flowers for me. My first reaction was wtf, yea ok to my friend who was working the phones but he said he was serious. I go down there and theres a guy from 1800Flowers with a dozen roses, i look at the clipboard and its my name. Completely puzzled i open the card and see a note that says "Men do get flowers

- a good friend".

As soon as i saw the signature part i realized they were from this girl kim who i've been seeing at work, we've been keeping our stuff on the dl, away from the gossip train at work since so many people here like to talk. She's one of the sweetest, most incredible girls i have ever met, and her doing this just shocked me. we had been talking the other day about how girls are usually the ones who get flowers, guys never get them, its just how it goes.

Now im beaming, i've had a smile on my face since i saw the card. Plus alot of the girls here at work are jealous that i got flowers

alot of the girls here are jealous, but i also work with my exgf here too, i wonder if she's seen them yet

and i think she's coming over today, so i might take 6 of the roses, scatter the petals on my bed for when she comes over and well, see where it goes from there ;)
