all turbo cars have BOV's now adays however most are recirc vavles, the dumbass just thinks that venting it instead of recircing it creates less lag lol

It does help you...when compared to no type of ventilation at all. But a bypass valve and a BOV do the exact same thing. The only difference is that one blows the air into the air and you hear it, and the other recirculates it.
