There is a guy who's running 450 hp on the standard B205 internals, but he's specifically pushing it to see how far it will go. Saabs used to be built a bit tougher, but the latest generation are low friction and light weight internals to the extreme. It's all a moot point though as they're killing off the engine in the next couple years and replacing it with the a turbocharged version of the global GM V6, which was developed by saab and is supposed to have even more potential.

for the record, 400 whp is alot more than 450 bhp. espcially if its 400 AWHP to 450 in a FWD BHP.

The guy who did my tune is the one who has been running 389WHP on a 250K mile 2.0 engine with all orignial stock internals and he beats on it like mad. He did not blow a piston till he hit it with a 125 shot of NOS at it made 500-525 BHP on the dyno. Yes Subarus are nice but not a Luxury ride....
