1980's Porsche 944's!

What a pain in the butt these cars are. I never see them in a shop except maybe once every 3 years. I had 2 in 2 days. They take about 4 to 5 good hours to tint. And yes its because of the back window. Heres how they turned out.

5% Turbo

20% sides/15% rear hatch non-turbo

the red one asked me to put my logo'd banner on the rear windshield. That was cool of him. He came all the way down from Upper Black Eddy, PA.
Thanks
Ryan

I didnt have to detint either one, but one had SOME glue from an old tint job, but not enough to get worried about.

Love both of the cars and the tint is fabulous.
What do okay shape 944's go for these days, I hear they aren't to bad about parts because of them sharing a lot of them with the vw's. I've always loved that body style also.

it depends on what ur looking for. A decent non-turbo starts at about 4-5K
Turbos are rare and u hardly ever see them go much below 10k. 15 Grand will buy u a nice car with decent mileage but ive seen them go for as much as 30K. Quite a range. Parts are expensive but take ur time and find a nice car and itll run forever. I havent put anything but gas in that red car and have no problems. But my black 84 sat for a while and had a lot of leaks. weather stripping is expensive. basically if it says porsche on it u can double the price for parts so buyer beware

im guessing ur looking for a manual transmission for that car. Try 944online.com or email jamie@944online Thats where i get all my parts. Their reasonably priced and i think they have a manual in stock.
