This is why I always set up my auctions for US bidders only...

Doesn't USPS ship internationally too?

Whenever I ship stuff to Russia, I just use USPS priority.

I don't think insurance or confirmation are valid on USPS outside of the US... worth looking into at least.

From what I remember you can get insurance, I haven't done it in a while though.

You don't actually have to fight him, just cancel his bid.

The auction will be re-listed then.

DHL is o.o.b. in the US, but can still be used as an international carrier (they just got rid of their domestic service). Also you can ship via USPS, thats how I get stuff here in NZ.

But really, I wouldn't bother going through this trouble to find him the lowest shipping cost. Unless your auction states that you (the seller) are covering the shipping charges, just charge him whatever you can find, after all it was his decision to end the auction fully knowing the item(s) were coming from the US. Just my opinion...

Ship USPS. conformation or not, which you will get, but it won't be very real time. We shipped some samples to someone in Jordan from my work and it got there just fine.

Just make sure you get all the proper customs forms and such

I know DHL apparently closed up shop, but I still see a few trucks running around, with drivers in Yellow & Red shirts.

Definitely try USPS Dave. Just make sure the box isn't oversize or the prices go up dramatically. I've shipped several turbos overseas for under $100.

International flat rate boxes from USPS is your best bet. I shipped stuff to buddies that are deployed that way all the time. By far the cheapest route. You may need a few boxes though.

Yes it is...

USPS is def. your best way for small stuff. And believe it or not, it may be cheaper (for you anyway) to do it in multiple small packages instead of paying oversize charges or coming close to their Size/Weight Limit...

There may be more taxes/duties on his end but no one cares about him, thats what he gets for buying internationally...

Wrong. They have international flat rate. I used them before.
