im only mentioning it because the car had a "raspy" sound...but not a good one. A friend of mine has a 02 spec v with a catback that sounds 100000x better than this did.

Header usually then, prevents the ded-selfing by eliminating the pre-cat.

I see this red spec V going up and down New Falls all the time. Along with this ricey looking neon I saw pulling out of BK one day. J/K Toner.

Probably b/c they are paranoid about the precat

I'm beginning to think it's just a fraction of people and not the majority, like I've heard. Speaking of which, how do you drive it, thoroughly well, spirited, etc? lol..I was told by a dealer not to downshift, and I shat my pants.

lol dude that's what I said. I was driving with my buddy yesterday and he said "uh oh, 4th to 3rd, you're ****ed!". The dude also said to undershift, and I also lost it. How the hell do you advertise for a "sporty car", and then say you have to drive it like your grandmothers Altima? WTF Nissan way to drop the ball!

lol as do I, who wouldn't?! It kills your brakes if you don't. I'm thinking ok..this car wasn't designed to go past what, 3500 rpm, wasn't designed to downshift, wasn't designed to engine brake, wasn't designed to be run for more than 3 hours..so how the hell would one drive it?!
