dyno graphs for the stang *UPDATED WITH BLOWER PICS*

the fiance got a paxton novi 2k on her car this week with aftercooler. currently running 8psi only other mod is cat back. stock manifolds/cats for now. its an auto so there is more drivetrain loss than a 5 speed would have. prolly puts the power around 400 at the crank. not bad for stock motor. will be getting a torque converter and long tubes in the near future. will post up some pics once we pick it up on friday, but the whole kit and piping is polished.

basically what came with the kit. fuel pump, blower, aftercooler, injectors, etc.....she has 4:10's and cat back(flowmaster) exhaust. should get at least another 20whp with long tubes and high flow cat's(prolly slight re-tuning)

yeah we were pretty happy. before the blower she had intake/plenum/tb and tune. she was making 240whp i think so over 100whp on 8psi and a safe tune isnt bad at all.

Suprised jd's didnt screw you on the numbers, so you would spend money with them. My buddy had his stang worked on/dynoed there, and there "safe" tune like he always called it sucked. He knew it ran bad and numbers were weak for the setup he had. They kept telling him if he buys this or that it would improve so he kept listening and spending money. Eventually he stopped and then took it to Kevin@ wicked motorsports(mnay not be exactly rite name) and had it retuned and car ran a ton better, smoother better looking graph etc. Overall just a lot better, your graph actually looks good so i dont what else to really say but jus giving you a heads up. I really wanna see where this projects heads towards so keep us updated, and good luck in the future

every shop has a few people that talk badly about it.....her dad had his built/blown 88gt tuned there and it came out running better than it went in. all i know is dyno graphs dont lie and hers is about as smooth of power/ air fuel i have ever seen. once we get the car and drive it for a while is where the real test comes in. i dont expect any problems the owner of the shop did it, not his mechanics

JD's is one of the worst shops around. My old car blew head gaskets left and right. they give you the run around telling you to buy this and that. TSI97 is 100% right. they feed off people who dont know. My buddy Shawn had an 01 mustang GT, auto with a S-trim and some other little BS. it made 405rwhp and 415rwtq. the car ran great for 2 years til he sold it. so, if jds is so great why is this car making less power with a bigger blower and a intercooler?? ITSTOCK car probably give some more info on this. he knows alot more about the newer mustang seen.

o yeah Shawns car was tuned by kauffman motorsports.
