What did you pick up the 07' tranny for?
My buddy just got his 07' tuned and OMG, those gears pull forever! Makes me hate ever owning a previous year 6mt.

It's better than the 5speed in every way... the major advantage other than the sti trans's wider gears, is that it has an oil pump that keeps the gears and internals constantly lubricated..., rather than relieing on Antiquated method the 5speed uses... which is splash lubrication...

6-8-09, I was presented with a major issue...
The continuation of both lousy drivers who not only don't give 2 ****s about anyone else on the road as well as the drivers who lack any if not all common sense continues to grow... 6-8-09, around 630 ish I was hit by another car who apparently, didn't care to stop and think that pulling out inbetween 2 lanes of moving traffic that another car coming down the turning lane wouldn't see him until he pulls out... A normal person who had any kind of a brain in their cranium, would have stopped and waited for traffic to leave... this one, didn't... I was the car coming down into the turning lane to turn left, when jackass pulls out never looks and drives right into the lane facing the wrong way in such speed that I never got my foot onto the brake pedal... Thats how fast it happened... I wasn't speeding... I was doing a good solid 15-20 max. He also happened to have an infant in the back as well as 2 open bottles of budwiser in the car... The corner of the car he hit, now, if you know how subarus are laid out, you've probly already got your head in your hands... He hit the pass side front... Completely exploded the power steering resevoir, as well as the fuel distribution block...... ... so yea... Im furious.... Oh yea, and as it turns out... He has no registration for the car, His inspection is years out dated, and his insurance, was canceled 7 months ago... So Im pretty much f-d .. And my car was claimed as totalled today because of the "9800" worth of damage... thanks a f---n lot....

Sorry to hear, its seems like all the possible BS that could of happen did. Its sad to see that we are at a point where we cant even be normal cautions drivers on the road and avoid dumb ****s like this... And like you said the bitch doesn't care about others because he has no insurance or any other requirement, which makes it more expense for people like me and you..
