Paint the MR2 gloss black with the blue wheels. Such a good color combo.

current state of my mr2... took this pic before i yanked the dash but w.e you get the idea

stripped the carpet,dashboard,seats... pretty much everything except for harnesses... lol everything was painted black with duplicolor vinyl and fabric spray.. dont knock on this stuff if its prepped correctly it sticks to vinyl/leather like no ones buissiness.. my seats were red leather i did them black as a temp fix that was in august.. i only had to touch up one area since then... the dashboard is vinyl so i did that as well it came out great ! as of right now i have the bare dash back in.. and the new carpet is getting laid out i had to stop because it got dark.. i managed to break the center vent on the dash and a clip that holds the passenger side vent in.. ordering new ones and ill be in buissiness.. ill post pics tomorrow after its all finished !

Looking forward to how this turns out. I have had great luck with SEM vinyl spray on products but have yet to experiment with the Duplicolor product.

That's good to see you're not skipping steps!

Always wondered about abandoned cars and how that works. Interested to see what happens

heres a pic i snapped for a friend today.. still didn't do the door panels.. gonna wait till my next day off and give my seats a respray and maybe wrap the headliner in black or attempt spraying it lol
i heard about the SEM paint i almost bought that actually but picked up the duplicolor because it is easier to get my hands on...the duplicolor i absolutely love ! i even used meguiars interior shine on it before shined up just like real black leather.. i honestly thaught it would effect the paint but nope !

well.. the next step im taking is body work.. so be prepared to see it look like a poop box with patches all over it in the next pics you see.. i need to order some patch panels.. this build made me gain a whole new appreciation for cars.. im no longer interested in making things faster like i used to be. i just really like to enjoy my cars now.. alot of it also had to do with the one semester i spent doing auto body

yeah i like it alot better.. much nicer then the dull green oem color lol the vibrant green looks great at night dimmer works too so i turned it down a bit.. just an overall cleaner look now that i liked them im going to buy ones for the hvac panel and for the rest of the exterior.. may even wire up an illuminated entry set up under the dash my probe had it so i will proably just snag it off a probe in the yard and replace the bulbs with white 194 LED bulbs.. right now im trying ot find a motor so im trying to knock out the little things as i put money aside
