Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists
getting their damaged wheels fixed through them. First off, I want to say that I am not in any way getting paid by AWRS or any of it's subsidiaries. I damaged a wheel on my 350z and of course I have the black hyper silver color. This is what the wheel looked like initially, IImageUploadedByTapatalk1330630211.500043.jpg ...and here is an after shot... ImageUploadedByTapatalk1330630293.596041.jpg . The overall experience was great. Marc really knew his stuff and the process behind getting the proper color since this wheel is hard to color match. I took my car to his location and about 1 1/2 hrs and $100 later, my wheel was as good as new. He grinded it down, fixed all the damage and resprayed the whole wheel. I would, without hesitation, go to him again if I needed a wheel in need of repair. I am just putting this out there in case someone has a damaged wheel and doesn't want to replace the wheel for whatever reason. |

yeah, the website is awrswheeleepair.com. You have to look it up by location because there are franchisees that cover certain areas. I dealt with Marc and he covers Bucks county and a few other counties.

Interesting, because I had a very bad experience with a mobile wheel repair person a few years ago. Not sure if it's the same company but that website looks familiar.
My is350 rims were damaged by the tire shop, who then used a mobile company for the repair. While the dents/dings were fille, the respray was horrendous. I could see the circles of paint where spots were simply touched up. The circles were very evident from the spray can/gun or whatever that was being used. Not to mention, I had runs, globs, and hairs stuck in the clearcoat that they reapplied. Not to say this was the same guy, just be careful where you spend your money.

it may have been a different guy who did it, unless he got a hell of a lot better at it since he did yours lol. and he resprayed the entire wheel so you couldn't see the areas that the aluminum was fixed. The respray was really good, you would have never known it was repainted unless I told you.
