I believe it is a wheat beer. Or a Witbier.

at least thats what it is classified under. we could get technical since it is a 50% wheat and 50% barley brew.

oh and celis white is good too, but it's the same thing...

witbier isn't wheat. hoegaarden is a witbier though, aka White Beer, belgian white, etc.

wheat is weiss, weizz, weissen, etc. so a weissenbier is a wheat beer. Its cool, i was confused about all that before when i first started making beer... they asked me what I liked, i said hoegaarden... they gave me a belgian wit recipe and I was confused as all heck...

Not just because its brewed in Ukraine, but because it doesn't taste watered down.

well it's good to learn from scholars of the trade otherwise you get the over simplified definition, which ends up being in-correct.

I currently have about a 1/2 case of Victory Lager in my fridge which is pretty good. I also enjoy a blue moon every now and again. If i'm bringing beer to a party you better believe i'm dragging in the Lionshead Light. I'm not gonna pay 30 dollars for a case of beer and have some teenager try to dip into it.

I just killed a case of lions head with my friend just now..

it's definitely my favorite cheap beer out there.. leaps and bounds above any miller, bud, or coors product out there in the same price range

I have to say my mass produced favorite beer has to still be Yuengling series of beers, love the lager and even lager light and i will drink their porter with dinner. When i was in college i drank alot of Lion's Head, can't beat $10 case of bottles and it tastes pretty good. Also the riddles on the bottle caps were alway a hit to figure out toally drunk. I am also a fan of victory's golden monkey except for the next day when you are on the toilet sh**ing your brains out.

My friend home brews his own beer and its amazing he does all kinds of different blends. We also have a place outside of Bragg called the Mash House that brews beer for their restaraunt.

Have you ever tried Troeg's Mad Elf Ale. It's a little more potent than Golden Monkey at 11% abv per bottle.
