so i just picked up a 98 eclipse for about 2k. has turbo 420a...intake...exuast...stage 3 clutch...and new shoes :]

tell me what u guys think i should do next thanks !

Lots of potential. Little lower stance, short shifter (well I mean unless you like grabbing hold of a throbbing di..), and personally, I am not a fan of the pine scented air fresheners.. reminds me of like hiking or something idk.

Haha, if you think that's bad, you obviously haven't seen the OEM 1G shifters. And, just because he puts a short shifter in the car, doesn't mean his shifter height is going to do anything.

Agreed. Spin'n'break central. I had a 50 trimmed 2.4l 420a in one of my old Talons, and it was utterly useless. Went back to stock and enjoyed it way, way more.

They don't make a "short" shifter as in height. Every short shifter for these cars are about the same height. You have to get it cut and rewelded to get the effect of what you want.

To the OP a 420a is kindof pointless. I'm sure it moves but its still dumb. Clean looking shell, but if you are in for paint already why not get the turbo high rise wing? Also for the 1000000Xth time they are wheels or rims NOT shoes. So irritating.

Very nice, my buddy had a 420aT , you should def put the turbo wing on there since your getting a paint job!

Keep the short wing. Definitely lower it. If you are going to put something from an Evo on it, try wheels from an VIII.

Josh- 420A has potential, iron block, forged crank. Not a bad engine, or "dumb" but a not a 4G63 either. Needs lower comp pistons and more boost pressure along with a good tune. Also shoes refers to tyres. Yes I spelled it that way because I am in a British mood. BTW, it'll probably out run your GSX right now. lol

Only for a few more months until I get everything I need to do it right.
