Evolution Perofrmance's 2011 Mustang GT ran 8.89@148MPH

and backed it up with a 9.02@148

Its a supercharged, intercooled auto trans 2011 GT with slicks and skinnines and all the usual drag car bolt ons. Its the same 2011 GT that you may have seen the video of when it launched and got all 4 wheels off the ground.

Not bad considering the car has been out for about 5 or 6 months.

Its built now engine wise though it was impressive when i saw it at the track rental. Now its just like any LS motor on boost my buddys LS1 SC with 16-18psi is doing the same mile an hour but he's got crazy traction issues.

You can make anything go that fast if you have the money to do it. That place is a joke. Won't help you unless you have a lot of money to throw at them. And with that wheel stand, that's just an inexperienced driver right there.

I don't see anything great about someone buying a fast car. Its all about building it yourself.

The guys at the shop did build it themself. Its one of the two 2011 GT's the shop has. Its not like a 2011 GT runs 8's int he 1/4 stock.

It's impressive regardless of who built it and if it's actually built. Most "built" cars you see at the truck can barely crack 10s, let alone 8s. The car's not my cup of tea, but it's still moving.

They built the motor, strapped on a blower that could suck in small children, swapped in a built auto and 9" rear, and put slicks and skinnies on it. Of course it's going to be fast. 8s have been done... quite a few times.

I especially like the giant wheel stand that resulted in them presumably snapping the POS tubular kmember I'm sure they installed.

And let's not forget all the people this scumbag shop has screwed over.

Seemed friendly to me but they were at a GM an LS track rental. Your right though ford 9" built trans an motor I'd hope for at least 9s starting off an work towards the 8s.

Yeah the car is fast but its not what I see as a real street car in the form its in... Regarding them screwing owners, name a shop that does not have an unhappy customer. More often then not the customer is the issue not the shop, although there are clear cases of the shop dropping the ball. Anywho its a fast damn car I'd love to see it with a stick on DR's just for fun.

Never had a problem with them. They did my gears, exhaust, and Lund tuned me there.

Who I don't trust is that kid tuning @ Tillman, that dip **** had NO idea how to work with a knock sensor.. How the **** do you get a job tuning and NOT know how to work a knock sensor?

When the guy dropping off his car to get tuned is telling you how to do it.... you suck at your job. Hell one of the guys at Tillman's called my shaker a supercharger.

Lunds is a great guy.....I was refering to the shop. Lund tuned both of my old cobras. I wouldn't hesitate to send another car to him to get tuned. While he does tune there he is a seperate entity. I know for while he wasn't tuning at Evolutions......

That's what I hear about the guy as well. Good guy. Tuned this one guy's 5.0 and he only had that and M/T drag radials going 12.11 at Cecil earlier this year.
