What about Parx Casino? I know there is a side lot they never use, might be worth a shot

carlisle won't want to do it because they already have a meet for imports. and it may be in may.
also, some of these recommendations need to realize that if you suggest a place you are going to need ~2500 parking spots. i would seriously love to see it done in a huge parking garage.

I know that keeping cost low is a priority, but the size of this meet is getting to the point where it may need to be held at a small convention center to make it sort of an indoor/outdoor event. I wouldn't mind paying a few bucks for an entry fee toward the cost. Being able to go inside/outside would also provide a nice break from the sun if it gets hot out.

Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg? Rough count of a little shy of 2300 spots outside maybe. Plus space inside if you rent the whole shabang.

Personally I'm all for raising the bar and making this event more of an organized show format overall. I thought the VIP section last year was great. The problem is that is was just a small oasis in a sea of douchebaggery.

Another possible location is the ABB/Aon building parking lot at the intersection of County Line Road and Jacksonville Road in Warminster, PA. (Parallel to West Street Road). I can ask the building owner. Definitely more than 2000 spots available around the building. Parking is outlined in red in pic. All owned by the building owners.

It doesnt' look like that lot would hold 2500 cars to me, without actually counting. Its pretty ridiculous how large a place has to be to hold that many cars, much bigger than most realize.
Has anyone been to Macungie Park, or any of the car shows that have been held there? We're looking into that as an option but I've never been there, curious about any feedback from people who have been.

U could try the old fort Washington convention center. There are 2 huge parking lots in the back and 2 big ones in the front and parking around. Its now a decry university and a GMAC mortgage. Which both I believe are closed on sundays

I live 5 minutes from the park. It is a nice location. One thing to consider as you alluded to earlier is the maturity level of some people that will attend this meet as opposed to The Wheels of Time and the other shows they have there.

I hate to say it, but why not make it a minimum entry fee that would keep the size in check, say, less than 2,000 cars, and keep the undesirable people out? Bump up the entry to $25/$50 and I bet you will eliminate a lot of the problems. I'd rather go and participate in a show with 500 cars, where the owners are mature, and spend a couple more dollars for charity, then to a show with 2,500 cars and bunch of problems walking around.
Bigger doesn't make it better.

I'm glad you die hard TST's are willing to pay $50, but that's a little extreme. I love this site, but I hate 90% of the people involved in the hobby. I, along with many others, can afford $50, but would never pay $50 to watch a bunch of unintelligent schools are failing bros parade around a giant parking lot.

Yeah it makes sense in theory, but were in an area where throwing money at your children is the norm. Realistically, $50 doesn't discriminate against losers. Yeah, it would most likely cause a drop in attendance, but don't assume that to be a good thing necessarily.

Macungie park is a great place to hold a meet. There is more than enough parking and there are plenty of local places to eat. Having to drive only 10 minutes to get there would be a treat. If this plan goes into action, save me a seat.
