Picked up this supercar last night. Whopping 21,800 on the odometer. 3 speed automatic, a/c and p/s. Paid $1,420 after some back-and-forth haggling from $1,700. I'm gonna do a 2.5T swap or SRT4 swap if I end up keeping this for more than one or two winters. Some rust underneath, nothing I'm worried about. Will change all fluids/belts/hoses real soon. Interior looks showroom new. NOW PICS.

I actually WANTED one of these back in the early 90s when I was getting ready to start driving.

Had a black csx was a blast too drive never new the srt swapped them. You can swap the head should bolt up but you need to change somthing with the oil or coolant passageways between the block and head

nice nice, though I don't think I'm going to sink any post-maintenance cash into this car anytime soon, so no swaps or power-adders except a muffler maybe. This is more of a thread to use in the future when I most likely will sell this car. I can have a journal of sorts to show prospective buyers. I do want to tint the back windows the lowest legal % and then put 2 12's in the trunk with the Kenwood deck from my Miata and 4 new speakers.

Changed air filter today. The removable panel to the filter stated it was changed in 2006 at 14k miles but it looked like this so I changed it out for a Fram.

Nice! I always liked those old K cars. Seem pretty reliable and they take to mods nicely. I was looking into a Spirit RT for a while but couldnt find one locally in good shape so i picked up the Miata. 224 hp and 217 torque in a fairly comfy compact sedan? Hell yea.
