(tr4c3)IdriveBad's 93 Civic Coupe DD!

This car is my strict DD, but I plan to make it pretty quick still, but still keep luxuries (well, add luxuries...manual everything currently). It's a clean shell, never been modded, and it's awesome with gas mileage. I'm currently just cleaning it up, fixing up dents and dings, etc.

STATUS:

5/25/08:
- Painted nasty steelies. 3 coats Gloss Black/2 coats Clear.
- Used: 1 can Gloss Black. 1 can Clear. Supplies for prep.
Total Cost: $4.

BEFORE:

2 Coats Black:

Clearcoat time:

AFTER:

I think it came out great for less then an hour of work and only $4. I'll keep updating this periodically as I do suspension, engine swap, etc. Let me know what you guys think.

Yeah they were mounted, oh well. We masked everything off and we sprayed the lugnuts and ****. I really didn't care. We could of taped them off, but whatever haha. They're just steelies, I don't plan on keeping them, just wanted the car looking nicer for now. First mods the car is getting is suspension and brakes, tossing the stock junk and getting all new stuff, along with a rear disc brake conversion. Also going to get the bushing kit and replace those. The rotors may have caught some overspray, they will be replaced soon anyway, they are beat.

I'm thinking of looking for some drop shocks for cheap or maybe just a cheap spring/strut combo so it's not in 4x4 status anymore.

I've been either lazy or busy, finally started installing the suspension. Got the fronts done today, hopefully get the rears done tomorrow. The springs offer a 2"-2.5" drop, car looks pretty nice, can't wait for them to break in and settle.

Just purchased some BLOX LCA's in black. Going to install the rears once those come in.

Here's how the car is currently sitting, everything installed except the exhaust. Rear suspension hasn't really settled yet, only drove it for about 20 minutes so far.

Yes the springs are correct. I don't know if this would effect the look or anything but the rears are worn out (and 175's) and the fronts are newer (and 185's).
