i just can't stand my job anymore. A year and a half to almost 2 years working in the same hot as f*** kitchen, with the same annoying as all hell people makes me want to go insane. Not to mention the low wages and terrible hours (right now I'm halfway out the door, but two months ago I was running 6am-10pm 3 days a week, and 10-10 4 days a week). all of this at 8.50 an hour mind you.

I can't wait till I have something better lined up so I can get the hell out of there

I already have a degree but it is in Marketing. I want to go back for a second degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering, that is what actually interests me.

I was looking to get a job at a company doing admin work or working in the marketing/sales dept and going to school part time.

your best bet is to take a day off and go to like 20 or 30 different places you would like to work at better than where your at now and just fill out apps if you have been there this long without any sort of mental rest your gonna go nuts and lose it and quit one day then you'll be up sh*t creek w/o a paddle

I'm always bored at work... Everyone in the IT department thinks that all I can do are menial little jobs and I am one of these interns that knows jack about computer systems. There are a few guys though which give semi-interesting work. I just finished flowcharting and documenting all the sends and receives between all the servers in the entire North American Ikea delivery landscape. Fun, kinda. Better than sitting around.

The next time you order something from ikea for delivery, you can thank me for it being on time...
