Did a Borla exhaust on my buddy's RS.. we had quite a crowd of spectators show up to help (or just gawk at us doing the work)

The video does it no justice, it's absurd...

Installed hood struts today. No cutting of the rubber hood seals like some of the other struts on the market

A bit of feedback on the swaybar mod...

It definitely feels tighter and less floppy on corner entry. Doesn't seem to increase understeer much if any at all. Even in long sweepers at 9/10ths on the Cup 2s I don't notice it understeering more than it did before. Tight corners are unaffected on exit, still tons of on throttle oversteer

I've got a set of Whiteline endlinks to install to make doubly sure there's no preload on the bar, maybe tomorrow. I'll check to see if there's enough preload for me to care because it's a rather unpleasant job swapping endlinks.

Whiteline end links installed. Tedious, but WAY easier now that I own a set of ratcheting wrenches.

Thanks! I hope it's just that bit faster at autocross with the minor mods here and there. I'm half tempted to buy a tune to run on the street, it's really hard to resist the insane power gains

Before I start in with the pics and such... Here's a video of the stock exhaust. Cold start, some free revs, then a moderate pull into 3rd gear. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPRObYwozrM

Now for the ETS exhaust. Titanium and I custom ordered it without the "normal" blue tips. 19.4 lbs. versus 42.2 lbs. for the stock exhaust, a good deal of weight savings.

Here's a really crummy video of the Ti exhaust: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6rBmdyTifI

I doubt it, lol. I would LOVE to do a tune... easy 50whp and 80 wtq gains from JUST a tune. stupid rules... and warranty on an expensive and complicated car, lol

I ordered some exhaust butt plugs

Thanks man!

Unfortunately the pops are way too loud for autocross... 100+ dB even at 50 feet. The regular exhaust noise is about 98 dB even with silencers in the tips... gotta figure something out

lol, not sure that will help

My dB meter may be a bit off, it was reading 70-75 dB in normal conversation, which is about 10 dB high...

down turn tips could help. the sound with hit the ground and dissipate a little more. hopefully just enough to fool a dB meter
