97 miata ems for turbo applications(help!)

i have a 1997 mazda miata, looking to buy a turbo kit. i am tight on money but i do want to get the best buy for my situation, with the money i have. I do not have enough money for a stand-alone, but i wanted to know if anyone has had a great tune with realistic hp gains with a piggy-back ems they have used. i talked to my local speed shop and they informed me that i may be interested in a AEM FIC, due to my situation. i would appreciate if anyone could notify me if they have used this or some other form of ems that has been successful/unsuccessful and if they there were any problems with it.

It would help to know what your turbokit budget is.

You should go HERE and look around. The Begi Shanghai S is the cheapest full kit at $1,600.

around 1800, no more than 2000. that was actaully pretty helpful, i think i might just go with that, when i can afford it.
what are your thoughts about piecing together a kit off ebay and just getting a ems separately?

Personally I wouldn't buy any turbo part on ebay unless it's a used FM or Begi kit. Some will say the intercoolers are fine. I'd start with the Shanghai S and upgrade when you can.
