From what I understand, he has 2 union grievencess against him. One for sexual harassment, the other for creating an hostile work environment. Since both cases are pending, and he has already been "punished" aka going from night shift supervisor to a work shop leader, neither the union nor the company here can't do anything else till the case is done. He is retiring by june, so he lawyered up and is keeping the case pending till he retires, then the case will be dropped and nothing will be on his record. And he pretty much gets away with screaming at people because of that.

Again, that is what was explained to me about how he gets away with ****. Not sure if it is true or not.

The only issue you may have with them is that bluetooth is just slow. I wouldn't try legit data logging with one but they are great for playing around, checking codes, ect.

It'll be strong enough signal for me to use the nook in the car im guessing. Yeah, some builds of CM7 enable BT capability.

I'm more looking for some light data like temps, oil pressure, stuff like that. That and I think my code reader is on its way out.

You won't have any problems in the car. You can actually set up custom displays with the software to show virtual guages of oil temp, pressure, fuel ,ect.

This is basically the reason I have to hate on that petition for the code stuff built into cars. This is so much better and it won't be long until just about everyone has a smartphone. The only thing I coudl see them doing is making an option to have a bluetooth OBD2 transmitter stock. I'd pay for that.

So you can use your phone as a code reader by just plugging that adapater in and syncing them together? What software do I use on my phone? I have a rooted HTC.

It works with any OBD2 car so yes, its def worth it since you can basically use it for any car.
