well first of all it's not reallllllly in focus, and i would suggest five exposures at least. also, don't shoot while a car is driving by, you can see the streak of lights behind the rear bumper.
i think you should learn how to properly take and edit a photo normally without playing with HDR. i've been shooting for almost a year now and i haven't gotten to the HDR stage.

You're probably right I should learn more. But I was just playing with my new camera.

It's cool man I don't blame you. I mean no disrespect, just out of experience I would say get the basics down first.

I tried again even though I know I should learn the basics first.
There is a yellow street light that shines on the shed. So it came out all yellow like but I think it looks much better than my first attempt. Again trashcan=tripod

first one doesnt look anything like an HDR photo. the second one is better but still looks OOF and your White balance is way off.

pics are very grainy, which is too much ISO if im not mistaken. Also, as you mentioned, need to get in focus with the pics. the second one is a better attempt, but i dont think you can achieve HDR in mspaint. i could be wrong, im not all that familiar with HDR

well since he wasnt using mspaint, that isnt the problem. his photos also arent grainy so i'm not sure why you said that. white balance is off in both of them big time and they're oof as mentioned before.

big mistake...
the best photos are the ones that come good straight out of the camera... no photoshop or photo editing program can rectify a shot with bad composition... take the advice already given and get to know your camera... HDR is something to play with as you begin some experience... I have been shooting for several years and I still haven't tried HDR as it doesnt apply to sports photography and macro as well as it does to car photography. get to know the camera.... white balance, ISO, aperture, shutter speed, depth of field... and so on... |

You can see if your local community college or photo shop offers a beginners class. They offer one at Dan's in Allentown for like 65 and it's just a great way to learn the basics. do that and stay away from Photoshop until you can take a picture you're really happy with, with just the camera. Either way keep working at it and keep in mind that out of 20 shots their might only be one good one, you just have to keep trying different things and learning from your mistakes.
