does anyone know how to get rid of the trojan horse virus? i think its an old one but it got through my firewall and now i get pop up after pop up. grrr! any suggestions, feel free to conversate

what kind of pop up? advertisements? sounds like spyware.

viruses dont "get through" your firewall. you have to download and run a virus. firewalls just keep out unwanted network activity

yeah advertisements. i download everything so i dont know what i downloaded that brought in in here. plus i like porn so that right there will mess things up

Doesn't sound like a virus.... just silly spyware he run some spy ware blockers and i am sure you will be ok and lay off the porn.

some things u do have to remove manually...post the name of the trojan and maybe i can help u out. or just bring it in to the geeksquad
