insurance question

alright, I had a WA license for a few years without getting a PA license. in that time I had 2 accidents in PA ( hit a car once, and hit a divider in the snow another time ) a few days ago I finaly got a PA license. my insruance in expiring in december so I ordered copys of my driving records ( WA and PA ) to see what they look like, I noticed that WA has no record of anything in the last 3 years ( yay ) and to my surprise.. neither does PA.

No it wouldnt be illegal. When you actually get insurance and give them your license number from PA anything that is on your record will show up and then they adjust your premium accordingly

Most states are now in the DRivers License Compact.....Certain states share info with each other Such as license info, accidents, arrests, and so forth.....If the insurance doesnt question you then i say run with it

thats what im saying, when you run my license number nothing comes up. i have a clean record because when i had my accidents in PA i had a WA license and they didn't report it to WA i guess

this is ****ing nuts, i should have bought that evo last week; it's been 3 years since my suspension and it isn't affecting my premium anymore, my speeding tickets are gone, now all i have left is 2 accidents and a "driving left of median" but the accidents arn't showing

Here is the official link from PenDOT...

https://www.dot33.state.pa.us/pdotfo...ets/fs-dlc.pdf

It's odd that the accidents didn't show up. But I had to look this up and get a real answer because I've recently gotten a few speeding tickets in NJ, but I have a PA license. And according to this, and to PenDOT after speaking with them on the phone....it doesn't matter how many speeding or moving violations a PA driver gets OUT OF STATE....it does not go on the PA license.
Odd thing is it DOES say that major violations such as accidents, or DUI/DWIs will be reported.

You have a CDL? If so, they aren't supposed to be a state license anymore, meaning it doesn't matter what state you get a ticket in, it will still go on your driving record. I'll see if I can find the letter they sent me........

*never mind, the letter was just talking about having multiple licenses for different states.*

Drew,

PM me your contact info and ill run your info and tell you what shows up on your record. I own/operate an insurance agency so i have access to everything your asking about

Like someone said above, if its on your record, the MVR (motor vehicle report) will find it...

Let me know...
