just bought an Evo X............

alright not really, I actually just took out another school loan, which could have bought an evo . Looks like ill be 95 when its finally all paid off!

Well its not THAT bad, actually it was only for 25k and that includes the house were renting and tuition. I plan on paying back the rent as the school year progresses so my loan is less.

Anyone else just take out school loans?

Yea, $3600 for police academy, plus $500 for uniforms and approved PT gear. Hopefully you're paying that assload of money back for the oppurtunity to make more than I will be, haha. Where and what are you going to school for?

Not yet, but I will be taking out a large chunk shortly. I am going to school for Aeronautical Science and from all I can gather I will be a solid 80-100k in debt at the end. Its all good though, I am excited to start

If you have any recommendations on where to go or what types of loans to get though post it up. Its all new to me.

I am gonna work though to try and keep the evo.

Yeah I did the FAFSA. I am getting a good amount of subsidized and un-subsidized Stafford loans. What sucks is I already have one degree so in the Govs eyes I am a Grad student and not eligible for Pell grants.

ah yea that can cause a bump in the road. its a lot tougher than a lot of people think to get loans. the gov will deny you the first chance they get. good luck, that program sounds badass.

well long term? Open my own weight lifting / nutrition company with my own products developed from my team of scientists and nutritionists. My friend is a business major, with a rich daddy who will help us out so, its quite possible in 5-10 year range to have that up and running.

short term? chill out, smoke some blunts and work for a food type place like Kraft developing flavorings and such.

Also, I'll have a german minor and a business minor, so I also could work in the chemical manufacturing field, since most companies are based out of germany, such as Pyrex.

Thanks man. I will look into that. Are they easy to get money from year over year?

Also, my friend works for a big fragrance/flavor company over in Princeton called Firmenich. He works in the scents lab and loves it. He can make me any cologne I want for free. Look into them for an internship, they are based all over the world.

nopistons, your weight lifting/supplements idea sounds awesome and i'd love to do something like that. i'll also have a german minor when im finished, but if i dont go that route i'll have at least 6yrs german experience so i'll know enough to use it. you could also work for a pharmacutical company to make big bucks. one of my best friends parents both work for pfizer and my other friends mom works for a pharm company with a chem degree so theres definitely options, i was just curious what yours were. btw i worked in an environmental chem lab and trust me thats not something you wanna be doing. i have lots of chem experience and it really didnt do me any good there. good luck with everything, i really need to figure out exactly what i wanna do. P.S. if you want someone with chem experience to get your weightlifting/supplement thing going, lemme know. i'd love to be in on that.
