I think the lighter the better, Id say go with 40%.. To dark of tint looks ghetto on anything but black cars IMO.

I really don't suggest doing things to your car that encourage cops to pull you over. Plus it kinda looks stupid to me.

I had 20% both times on my car and I've got pulled over and harassed by cops constantly. Granted I do live in a smaller town so that may have been part of it.

Tell me you have nothing of value in their that tint could possibly protect? I know for a fact it's a cheaper and easier way to keep thieves at bay.

Hey!

There are a few key factors that come in to play when picking a tinting percentage..

Are you in NJ or PA?

Is your interior dark or light?

Is this your first car with tint? We tent to steer people towards lighter tint...

As for my personal preference, I think the 20% would look pretty baller!!!

Incorrect. You can have 70% tint in PA, but most police will let you go with 35%.

Personally I would say it also depends on your interior color. I had %15 tint on my black GTP with black leather interior, and it looked as dark as my friends %5 tint with his grey interior.

But on a red car, I'd stick with %35

I like 35% all around... I think it looks dumb when its super dark, and I think it looks even worse when the rear windows are a different shade than the front.

35%-40%
anything more is just a cop magnet on a car such as yours. Its dark enough to give you the effect you want but not dark enough to get you pulled over plus tint on a red car just says pull me over.
