Help

Hi I'm new here I need some help. I work on trucks and trailers for a living I don't know much at all about cars but I have a 1991 honda accord that I bought in 08 to drive back and fourth from home to NADC other than tune ups and oil changes I've never had to do anything to it. Well the water pump went out on it a year ago and by busy decides he is gonna fix it after drinking a few and when I get home from work the car is tore down in my garage with parts every where and that's where it's been for a year he last a part and I don't know the name of it I can't find the name of it anywhere I can take a pic of it to the parts house and they don't even know where to begin looking for it can somebody please help me it's driving me crazy it's a brass looking piece that goes over the timing belt tensioner and a spring hooks on the end of it
