i lost a dog years ago by a passing car in front of my house. shortly afterwards my cat seemed to go in to some type of depression. it wouldnt eat right for weeks and would hang out by the window. s**t like this brings back sad memories.

Cats aren't stupid. You will be surprised how smart cats are. My cat will move her water plate to make sure theres water in there before she drinks it.

This video prove that animals may not have a soul, but its their instinct to help one another.

i'd like to see a video that proves we have a soul ;)

cats are very intelligent... and stubborn... my one cat knows how to open drawers, cabinets, etc... i've had to zip tie them all closed... (one of them has toys in it in a box that they've decided to go in and take what they want...)

my cat is so freaking smart. she opens doors with the handle, she picks her dry food up with her hand, dips it into her water, and then eats it out of her hand, everytime i saw her name she meows at me or comes running from the other side of the house. animals are really smart, people are just too stupid to realize it.

back OT .. this video is so sad ... poor dog. if i was driving on that road i would have stopped and helped right away.

Yea Animals are smart, Back when my grandmother was alive, My aunts dog would always lay next to or on her leg, My grandparent's would spend alot of time at my aunts house, but most recently when she passed away whenever my grandfather walked in the dog would always look for my grandmother but finally caught on they she had passed and the dog and cat's realized my grandfather wasn't acting the same, from this time being, needless the say whenever my grandfather is sleeping in his room, the dog go's back and forth into his room just to check up on him, he licks his face etc. and when he's at the kitchen table that cat's will sit on the kitchen table next to him, and the dog lays next to him, its very interesting to know that dogs and cat's know instinct's that they know something is wrong.

your English and grammar are deplorable

however, animal instincts are very strong and a pet will generally comfort someone that is not feeling well for whatever reason

Very sad to see. I have six pets and wouldn't hesitate to put my life on the line for any one of them. I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt they would do the same for me. People ask me if i have Pits for protection, i have them because i love the breed. I would never want my dogs to put themselves in harms way for me.
